GET THE FACTS on John Yi

John Yi is not who he claims to be.

  • He says he’s a progressive activist but worked as a lobbyist for a multi-million dollar lobbying group primarily funded by over $8 million from the billionaire family that owns Walmart. 1

  • Yi is currently trying to fool progressive voters into supporting him, despite his deep long-time ties to MAGA Republicans. As a lobbyist, Yi’s organization partnered together with a pro-Trump anti-abortion Texas State Senator 2, an oil and gas billionaire 3, and the Bush family 4.

John Yi has repeatedly sided with the oil and gas industry.

  • In Moscow, Yi worked for a law firm that represented Russia’s government-owned oil company that is one of the world’s worst polluters. 5

  • He even wrote an op-ed promoting fracking and oil drilling, and said it was good news that “oil and gas are here to stay”. Read his op-ed HERE. 6
